A 35-year-old Italian woman turned her nine-year-old son into a drug pusher at Andria in Puglia and has been arrested along with her 50-year-old partner, judicial sources said Thursday.
Prosecutors say the couple used the child to deliver doses of drugs to clients or to collect debts from buyers who were forced to pay them because they were threatened.
They two local people were arrested on suspicion of possession and trafficking of drugs, extortion and receiving stolen goods, with the aggravating circumstance of having exploited the minor.
