Podgorca, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The average net salary in Montenegro amounted to €1,020 in September, up 0.1 percent on August.
According to the Statistical Office, the average net salary increased by 15.8 percent in September, compared to last year’s corresponding period.
The average gross salary reached €1,210 in September.
“Given that, compared with August, the consumer prices decreased by 0.a percent in September, the real wages in Montenegro rose by 0.2 percent in this period,” stated a press release from Monstat.
In September, average net salaries increased in the fields of agriculture, forestry and fisheries, transport and warehousing, civil engineering, information and communications, wholesale and retail, maintenance of motor vehicles and motorcycles, accommodation and food services, professional, scientific and technical activities, mining and quarrying, public administration and defence: mandatory social insurance, and education.
In the same period, average net salaries decreased in the fields of real estate, other services, electricity and gas supply and air conditioning, processing industry, administrative and supporting services, water supply, wastewater management, art, entertainment and recreation, healthcare and social welfare, and financial and insurance services.
