Romania’s National Day is celebrated every year on December 1, the date in 1918 when the Great National Assembly in Alba Iulia adopted the resolution for the union of Transylvania, Banat, Crisana, and Maramures with Romania.

Alongside the Romanian soldiers, around 240 foreign military personnel will also parade, as part of detachments from Albania, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Croatia, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, North Macedonia, Moldova, Poland, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Spain, the United States, Türkiye, and military personnel from allied countries contributing to NATO structures on Romanian territory. The foreign detachments will include approximately 21 technical vehicles, including fighter aircraft, the Ministry of National Defence (MApN) reports.
