Minister of Tourism and Environment, Mirela Kumbaro, on Wednesday hosted the delegation of MEDEF, the international network of French entrepreneurs.

The delegation was headed by Jean-Paul Agon, President of the Board of Franco-Albanian companies and President of the management board of the L’Oreal brand.

“The new image of Touristic Albania and unique attractions have enticed many French investors to expand into our country, as the year 2023 marked a record number of French visitors with 57% more compared to the same period of 2022 “, said Kumbaro.

Albania is seeing this year the best tourist season due to the high flow of foreign visitors coming to our country.

According to INSTAT, the arrivals of foreign citizens for the first 8 months of this year reached almost 7.2 million people (7,190,410), with an increase of 26.9% compared to the same period of the previous year.
