Kosovo Prosecutorial Council opens competition for prosecutor promotions at the Office of the Chief State Prosecutor

The Kosovo Prosecutorial Council (KPC) has announced a competition for the promotion of prosecutors to two positions at the Office of the Chief State Prosecutor.

The competition will be open from August 6 and will last for 15 days.

KPC Chair Arian Gashi said during the meeting that it is more than necessary to fill the two positions at the Office of the Chief State Prosecutor.

“We have two vacant positions, as two prosecutors have retired, who went through this council to be sent to the presidency to be relieved of their decrees. It is more than necessary to fill these two positions, as they have remained vacant for some time now. The competition will be open for 15 days, starting on August 6. Applications must be submitted to the Division for Prosecutorial Verification within the prosecutorial system,” Gashi said.

The KPC also approved a competition for the permanent transfer of state prosecutors within the prosecutorial system. Two prosecutors will be transferred to the Basic Prosecution Office in Prishtina and one to the Basic Prosecution Office in Prizren.
