The Kosovo Assembly, in today’s extraordinary session, approved three draft laws ratifying financial agreements with the European Union under the IPA 2021, IPA 2022 and IPA 2026–2027 programs.

MPs approved the Draft Law on the Ratification of Amendment No. 1 to the Financial Agreement for the IPA 2021 Program, which enables the continuation of procedures for contracting and utilizing €22.2 million in European Union funds.

The other agreements will also enable the contracting and utilization of €55.7 million in EU support.

Meanwhile, the IPA 2026–2027 program foresees projects worth a total of €193.856 million. Of this amount, around €180.5 million will be financed by the European Union, while the remainder will consist of co-financing from the Kosovo government and other development partners.
