Kosovo Assembly Speaker Albulena Haxhiu has signed the amendments to the Law on the Kosovo Specialist Chambers and the Specialist Prosecutor’s Office.

She has forwarded the law to Kosovo President Justina Shiroka-Pula for promulgation.

The news was confirmed to KosovaPress by the Assembly speaker’s political adviser, Glauk Tahiri.

“Yes, Assembly Speaker Albulena Haxhiu has signed and forwarded to the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Justina Shiroka-Pula, for promulgation, Law No. 11/L-001 on amending and supplementing Law No. 05/L-053 on the Kosovo Specialist Chambers and the Specialist Prosecutor’s Office.

The law was adopted at the Assembly’s plenary session on October 6, 2026, and forwarded to the President pursuant to Article 80, paragraph 2, of the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo,” the response states.
