Greek Armed Forces host children of Ukrainian fighters at facilities in Thessaloniki, Rodopi

The fourth scheduled hosting of children of deceased or actively fighting Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel took place from August 23 to September 3, the Hellenic National Defence General Staff said on Tuesday.
HNDGS said that following a request by Ukrainian authorities, 32 children were hosted in army facilities in Agia Triada, Thessaloniki area and 30 children in the Rodopi prefecture.
During their stay in Greece, the children participated in several activities, including sports games, visits to archaeological sites, museums, and monasteries, and took excursions to nearby areas, a General Staff statement said.
