Greece won top distinctions at this year’s fourth edition of the prestigious awards organized by the British travel trade news platform “ Travel Gossip.”

Specifically, following a vote conducted among travel agents from the United Kingdom, Greece secured first place in the categories “ Agents’ Favourite Sunshine Getaway Destination” and “ Agents’ Favourite Family Destination.”

The event “ The Travel Celebration 2026,” which highlights favorite destinations and tourism companies, took place last week in London and was attended by 370 professionals from the British travel industry.

The Greek awards were received by Eleni Skarveli, Head of the Greek National Tourism Organisation (GNTO) Office for the United Kingdom and Ireland.
