Former President Clinton’s birthday is marked by the “Friends of the USA”, we are grateful for his contribution

In honor of the 78th anniversary of the birth of the former president of the USA, Bill Clinton, the great friend of the state and the nation, the “Friends of the USA” association held an activity thanking him for his contribution to Kosovo in the most difficult times.

The chairman of this association, Agim Rexhepi, while expressing his gratitude to President Clinton, told about the purpose of this activity.

“Let us show that the people of Kosovo, the Albanians, are grateful for the actions that the USA and allies have taken towards the interests of Kosovo, but also of Albania. Over the years we have developed various activities, the primary goal is that in addition to sending human and political messages that we are grateful for what has been done, especially in the last war… We are eternally thankful. President Clinton was the one who gave the order to intervene and allowed the entry of forces into Kosovo, but we should not forget the other presidents as well… In this way, we Albanians are also grateful and deserve to be intervened even more in our national affairs”, said. Rexhepi.

Also present at this event was the well-known Albanian singer, Shkurte Fejza, who also thanked the president, Bill Clinton, for his contribution to the country.

“I feel privileged for this beautiful moment that you offered me. The name of the president, Bill Clinton, is now engraved in every Albanian heart. On every birthday of our state, we remember this great friend of the Albanians who helped in the most difficult moments of our people”, said Fejza.

Bill Clinton (William Jefferson Clinton) was born on August 19, 1946 in Hope, Arkansas, USA. Bill Clinton is an American politician who served as the 42nd President of the United States from 1993 to 2001.

We recall that, during his mandate as president of the strongest state in the world, Bill Clinton influenced the adoption and implementation of UN decisions on NATO’s intervention in the Kosovo war in 1999.
