Italian feminists splashed red paint on the head office of Rai State broadcaster Thursday in a protest against femicide.
Members of the anti-femicide ‘Let’s burn everything’ movement threw the paint on the windows of the entrance and on the historic horse at the entrance of the Rai headquarters in Viale Mazzini.
Dolls were also left in memory of the victims of femicide under the statue of the iconic horse, stained red.
The activists chanted slogans against femicides and “the problem of bad information”.
Red ‘blood’ paint was also splashed on the entrance floor.
The activists, five in total, were stopped and taken away by the police.
