Drakic: Montenegrin economy starts 2026 with moderate optimism

Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The Montenegrin economy is entering this year with moderate optimism, tempered by caution, as confirmed by the findings of a survey conducted by the Chamber of Commerce (PKCG), its President Nina Drakic caid.

“Most companies expect stabilization or a slight improvement in the business environment, and that operating conditions will be at a satisfactory level. However, a significant part of the business community remains cautious, bearing in mind persistent structural weaknesses, external uncertainties, and unresolved issues regarding the pace and consistency of reforms,” Drakic said in an interview with the Mina-business agency.

As she noted, expectations are therefore positive, but clearly conditioned by concrete economic policy measures.
