The judoka from Kosovo Distria Krasniqi successfully reaches the semi-finals after defeating the Israeli Gefen Primo at the “Paris 2024” Olympic Games.

Distria Krasniqi close to the medal, where she only needs one victory. The Olympic champion, Distria Krasniqi, will face Odette Giufridan in the semi-finals, in the fight that provides her with a medal in the -52 kg category.

Krasniqi needs to win at least one of the next two fights to secure the medal. The semi-final block and the finals take place from 16:00.

During the day, the Olympic champion managed to beat her first opponent, Maryam Maharani from Indonesia, after just a few seconds. Otherwise, in the last Olympics, Distria Krasniqi, together with Nora Gjakova, brought gold medals to Kosovo.
