Foreign Ministers of Cyprus, Greece and Egypt held a meeting Friday in New York during which they reviewed the progress achieved in various areas of cooperation, including defence, energy and the diaspora.
According to an official press release, Foreign Minister Dr. Constantinos Kombos participated in the trilateral meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Cyprus, Greece and Egypt, that was held on Friday on the sidelines of the 78th General Assembly in New York.
The Cypriot Minister along with Greek Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis and Egyptian FM Sameh Hassan Shoukry reviewed the substantial progress made in various areas of cooperation, such as defence, energy and diaspora.
Ministers also discussed the preparation of the 10th summit, which is expected to take place soon in Egypt and exchanged views on a number of regional issues.
Moreover, later on, a bilateral meeting was held between the Foreign Ministers of Cyprus and Egypt during which they discussed bilateral cooperation as well as ways of deepening the Cyprus-Egypt strategic relations.
