ZAGREB, 31 March (Hina) – Croatia’s foreign tourist revenue totalled €15.298 billion in 2025, up 2% year-on-year or €292.5 million compared with 2024, according to central bank data cited by the Ministry of Tourism and Sport on Tuesday.
In the fourth quarter alone, revenue reached €1.886 billion, up 3.8% year-on-year, or €69.5 million more.
Tourism and Sport Minister Tonči Glavina said he was satisfied with the 2025 results, noting that record arrivals and overnight stays were accompanied by record revenue, confirming that Croatian tourism is growing in a more strategic and long-term sustainable way.
He added that positive trends have continued into 2026, but cautioned that, given global challenges and uncertainty, precise forecasts remain difficult. Travel decisions are expected to be made increasingly at the last minute, often within one or two weeks before departure, highlighting the importance of maintaining international competitiveness.
Glavina stressed that preserving a high level of responsibility in shaping the tourism offer and pricing policy will be crucial to sustaining stability and continuing positive trends in the sector.
