SARAJEVO, August 10 (FENA) – The 12th edition of the international cliff diving competition, Bentbaša Cliff Diving 2026, was held yesterday at one of Sarajevo’s most recognisable landmarks.
Event organiser Dino Bajrić told FENA that Igor Arsenić from Banja Luka took first place, followed by Evald Krnjić from Montenegro in second and Danko Dangubić from Konjic in third.
A total of 25 competitors from six countries took part in the event.
Bajrić said this year’s competition went much better than expected.
This year’s edition was the biggest so far, featuring a record number of competitors from Bosnia and Herzegovina and abroad, who treated spectators to spectacular dives.
Over the past 12 years, Bentbaša Cliff Diving has grown into one of Sarajevo’s most recognisable summer events, attracting thousands of visitors and significantly contributing to the promotion of Bentbaša, the organisers said.
