Podgorica, (MINA) – The way in which Montenegro is making progress in the EU integration in recent months is impressive, said the regional director of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) Daniel Bagwitz during a meeting with Prime Minister Milojko Spajic.

According to the Government’s press release, the interlocutors assessed that the moment in integration is too good for Montenegro to be missed.

Bagwitz, stating that GIZ has been in Montenegro for a long time, said that they cooperate with numerous institutions and that they have had various successful projects.

“The way in which Montenegro is making progress in its EU integration process in recent months is truly impressive”, Bagwitz assessed.

According to him, this is an important moment.

“We want to be your support on that road”, said Bagwitz.

According to the Government’s press release, Spajic said that continuous expert support is the key to improving the administration.

“Getting to know the standards that are used in the most developed countries, along with constant cooperation with experts, could be of great benefit to the public sector employees”, Spajic said.
