Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – The average net salary in Montenegro amounted to €993 in November, up 5.2 percent on October.
According to the Statistical Office, the average net salary increased by 23 percent in November, compared to the last year’s corresponding period.
The average gross salary reached nearly €1,180 in November.
Given that, compared with October, the consumer prices increased by 0.2 percent in November, the real wages in Montenegro increased by five percent in this period,” stated a press release issued by Monstat.
In November, average net salaries increased in the field of financial and insurance services, real estate, processing industry, information and communications, mining and quarrying, civil engineering, wholesale and retail trade, maintenance of motor vehicles and motorcycles, other services, administrative and supporting services, accommodation and food services, water supply, wastewater management, process control, waste disposal and similar activities, healthcare and social welfare, art, entertainment and recreation, professional, scientific and technical activities, transport and warehousing, electricity and gas supply and air conditioning, public administration and defence, mandatory social insurance.
In the same period, average net salaries decreased in the field of agriculture, forestry and fisheries.
