Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Air Montenegro has transported 24,250 passengers in January, which is 29 percent more compared to the same period last year.
The national airline stated in a press release that 334 flights were operated, which is 70 flights or 26.5 percent more than last January.
“With better passenger cabin occupancy and higher fares, revenue increased by €470,000 or 33 percent compared to January last year,” the press release states.
This result is the product of dedicated efforts to increase the number of passengers, which enabled additional growth during a period of reduced air traffic.
The results achieved indicate a stable and positive growth trend for Montenegro’s national airline, which today marks four years since its founding.
“Encouraged by our results, we will continue to further improve our services and expand our services to meet the needs of our users and contribute to the development of air traffic in Montenegro. We thank all our passengers for their trust, and we expect even better results in the coming months,” the press release concludes.
