About 1,000 participants at the First Congress of Albanian Surgeons, a major medical event taking place in Prishtina
Around one thousand participants will take part in the First Congress of Albanian Surgeons, a major medical event being held in Prishtina.
The Vice President of the College of Surgeons of Kosovo, the traumatologist Ilir Hasani, emphasized that through this Congress, world science is being transferred to the Balkans, turning it into a tradition that increasingly connects the Albanian lands and doctors from the region and beyond.
“I wish that this congress, besides this massive growth that has been happening in recent years which has included all the Albanian lands in the Balkans and beyond, will grow even more because this year we are expecting around 1,000 participants to be present at the congress, which can be compared with the largest world congresses, and we are happy that we are bringing world science to the Balkans. But at the same time, this is a congress that is being followed not only within the borders of the Balkans and Southeastern Europe, but even further, and this is proof that science has no limits,” he said.
Hasani, who is the Vice President of the College of Surgeons of Kosovo for North Mitrovica, said that from this state too there is massive participation.
“Even this time we will have a massive participation from North Macedonia,” he said briefly.
The traumatologist of the Clinic of Traumatology in Skopje, Ilir Hasani, says that the Congress of Albanian Surgeons is offering them the opportunity to share their experiences with others.
“This is a center around which surgeons — not to say only Albanians, but mostly Albanians — gather once a year, and this has made this congress so famous that it sees no borders. All the information that we as surgeons and the innovations that we absorb at other international congresses we present in our country,” he said.
This year, the Clinical Congress of Surgery brings together 235 surgeons, among them 74 international experts from the United States of America, Europe, and the region./KosovaPress
