A growth rate of 2% was recorded in Q3, ELSTAT says

The available seasonally adjusted data indicate that in the 3rd quarter of 2025 the Gross Domestic Product (GDP), in volume terms, increased by 0.6% in comparison with the 2nd quarter of 2025, while in comparison with the 3rd quarter of 2024, it increased by 2.0%, the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) announced on Friday.
According to ELSTAT, GDP’s rise by 2 pct was due to:

Total final consumption expenditure increased by 2.1% (household consumption rose by 2.4%, and General Government consumption by 1%).

Investments (gross fixed capital formation) increased by 12.8%.

Exports of goods and services increased by 1.7%. Exports of goods rose by 1.7%, while exports of services increased by 1.1%.

Imports of goods and services decreased by 4%. Imports of goods fell by 5%, and imports of services decreased by 0.8%.

Meanwhile, in the quarter-on-quarter comparison, the following changes were recorded:

Total final consumption expenditure increased by 0.6% (household consumption rose by 0.7%, and General Government consumption by 0.2%).

Gross fixed capital formation increased by 3.5%.

Exports of goods and services increased by 0.2%. Exports of goods rose by 1.1%, while exports of services decreased by 0.4%.

Imports of goods and services decreased by 1.6%. Imports of goods fell by 2.3%, while imports of services increased by 1%.
