Compared with the last year’s corresponding period, the industrial production in Montenegro increased by 9.1 percent in the third quarter.

“Compared with the third quarter of 2022, the mining and quarrying industry and the processing industry increased by 17.5 percent and 0.7 percent respectively, while the electricity and gas supply and air conditioning sector grew by 21.8 percent,” stated a press release issued by Monstat.

Compared with Q2 2023, the industrial production saw a 10.2 percent increase in this year’s third quarter.

“In this period, the mining and quarrying sector and the processing industry saw a year-on-year increase of 66.1 percent and 11.1 percent respectively, while the electricity and gas supply and air conditioning sector declined by 2.7 percent,” stated the press release.
