Podgorica, (MINA-BUSINESS) – Business and cooperation models, aimed at contributing to sustainable economic development and involving more women in circular economy, were presented at the workshop titled “Women in Circular Economy”.
At the workshop held at NEST Coworking in Podgorica today, good practices in Croatia and opportunities for international cooperation were in focus.
The workshop was organized within the framework of the project “EMPOWER – ENCIRCLE: Discovering the Potential of Women Leaders for the Circular Economy in SE Europe through International Cooperation”.
The purpose of the project is to promote the values and principles of development cooperation among Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Turkey by strengthening capacities of civil society organizations for sustainable development and circular economy.
The EMPOWER – ENCIRCLE project is implemented by the GTF – Initiative for Sustainable Growth from Croatia as a lead partner, and the Business Women Association of Montenegro, the Association of Business Women of North Macedonia, the Association of Business Women of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the Women Entrepreneurs Association of Turkey (KAGIDER) as project partners.
The project is funded by the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of Croatia.
