The best of more than 100 high school and university students who took part in the final of the “Company of the year 2015” youth entrepreneurship competition on Wednesday were presented prizes at the “Invest in Education! – Business Hall of Fame” gala.
The winners were awarded funds in excess of 20,000 euros for business development and they will represent Romania in the European final in Berlin, for high school students, and Lisbon, for university students.
The prizes were awarded in various sections: “Education Investors” (to companies supporting Junior Achievement projects), “Signature awards” (to the best and most active companies, schools or teaching staff under economic, entrepreneurship, financial, ethical and responsibility programmes and education for health programmes) and “Company of the Year,” the university students category and the high school category.
The 15,000-euro prize in the “Company of the year 2015” category was shared by two teams for innovative products and business plans. More…
