Welcome prizes and 100,000+ gifts await tourists for an unforgettable experience

It was announced at the conference marking the “Connect with Montenegro 2025” campaign that tourists will receive a warm welcome at the Dobrakovo and Debeli Brijeg border checkpoints and at Tivat and Podgorica airports, including useful information, prepaid packages, and 100,000 gifts.

At the conference, organized by the National Tourism Organization (NTO) and One, in cooperation with the Border Police Sector of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Airports of Montenegro, and supported by Aqua Bianca and Montenegro Chips, it was announced that the initiative aims to create a positive first impression of the country, which welcomes tourists with open arms.

NTO Director Ana Tripkovic Markovic said the campaign received extremely positive feedback from tourists last year, which prompted the expansion to include Podgorica Airport.

“According to the latest unofficial data from local tourist boards, around 97,000 tourists were in Montenegro on 3 July, which makes us particularly happy and confirms the importance of welcoming visitors properly, warmly and in a friendly manner. We have also extended the campaign duration,” said Tripkovic Markovic, adding that this year’s campaign would run for two months with the possibility of extension.

She added that over 100,000 gifts and several prize games had been provided for this purpose, thanks to NTO’s partners and sponsors, as well as the institutional support of Montenegro Airports and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

This year’s gifts include refreshments, snacks, prepaid tourist packages with free internet, and promotional gifts from One and the NTO. As part of the campaign, numerous prize games have been designed for the airports and the Dobrakovo and Debeli Brijeg border crossings, as well as through social media. Prizes include airline tickets, five-star hotel stays, and other gifts.
