Italy supports the Venezuelan people who have expressed their will, Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani wrote in Spanish on X Friday.

“The election results have been manipulated, according to independent electoral observers, especially in the transmission of data”, said the foreign minister, referring to presidential elections held in Venezuela on July 28.

“As we have said in the Declaration of the #G7: we have to respect the democratic vote”, Tajani wrote on X.
