Cypriot Minister of Energy, Commerce, Industry and Tourism Yiorgos Lakkotrypis departs for Nairobi on Monday where he will take part in the World Trade Organisation`s 10th Ministerial Conference.
The Conference begins on Tuesday and concludes on Friday, an official press release says.
Lakkotrypis will also take part in an EU External Affairs Council, which will be convened in its trade formation by the EU Council Presidency in the context of the WTO Conference`s work, the press release adds.
The WTO Ministerial Conference takes place every two years and constitutes the highest political decision making body of the organisation.
Lakkotrypis returns to Cyprus next Saturday, December 19.
