TIRANA, July 14 /ATA/ – “Condé Nast Traveler”, a leading Spanish travel magazine with a focus on luxury and high-end travel experiences, has published an article on Albania’s best beaches recently as the country is becoming top tourist destination.
The Minister of Tourism and Environment Mirela Kumbaro took to the social media to share the article released by the Spanish magazine.
“Ten best beaches in Albania according to the leading travel magazine “Condé Nast Traveler,” an excellent promotion of our coast on its Spanish edition, while around 38 000 Spanish tourists have visited Albania in the first six months, as the country is no longer a surprise destination, but a consolidated market,” Kumbaro said.
“While the north of the country stands out for its mountains, its southernmost part invites you to surrender to paradisiacal beaches where the sun, the umbrellas and the Mediterranean create unique synergies. What began as an open secret… is not so much today. But what is certain is that Albania ‘s beaches are a summer crush that you will never forget,” Spanish magazine wrote.
Condé Nast Traveler has listed the country’s best beach destinations, namely Uji i Ftohtë beach in Vlora, Llaman beach in Himara, Bunec in Saranda, Dhermi, Drimadhe, Qeparo, Gjipe beach, Grama Bay, Durres and Borsh beach.
Prestigious international media continue promoting Albania as a popular tourist destination. Recent official data showed that more than 4.5 million foreign tourists visited the country in the first six months.
