Tetovo, 15 September 2025 (MIA) — Tetovo’s Europe House and Iljo Anteski Smok Cultural Center will host screenings of 44 European films selected for the 14th Tetovo International Film Festival ODA, which begins Tuesday and will run through Sunday.

The festival’s Win Panorama selection consists of 29 short films in four categories, including documentaries, animated shorts and student films. A panel of judges made up of filmmakers Erenik Beqiri, Lyubo Yonchev and Hanis Bagashov will decide the winners in each category.

The Cine Balkan Panorama will offer five premiere screenings of Balkan films. Film director and screenwriter Andamion Murataj, actress Ilire Vinca and film editor Lazar Sekulovski will choose the best film in this selection.

Special screenings will be held for Yonchev’s “Sea Me: A Life in Silence” (2024), Bagashov’s “Mushrooms Grow in Memory” (2025) and Murataj’s “Man of The House” (2025), which will open the festival Tuesday evening.

A selection of new European films will be shown as part of the Cine European Panorama. The festival will also screen a children’s film, Anders Matthesen and Thorbjørn Christoffersen’s computer-animated action comedy “Checkered Ninja 2” (2021). The 14th TIFF ODA will close with a special screening of Agim Abdula’s feature film “Coma” (2022). Admission to all screenings is free.
