“Svadba” most successful film in Croatian cinema history

ZAGREB, (Hina) – The Croatian film “Svadba” (The Wedding) has officially become the most-watched film of all time in Croatia, with 522,106 cinema-goers, and an additional 202,063 viewers in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

With a combined audience of 724,169 viewers in the two countries, the film has set a record rarely seen in the regional film market, particularly for a domestic production.

Since its premiere, the film has steadily built momentum, attracting audiences across generations with its emotional story, humour and strong ensemble performances.

Directed by Igor Šeregi, the film was produced by Eclectica and Viktorija Film, with distribution by the Blitz Group.
