Speaker of Romania’s Chamber of Deputies Valeriu Zgonea on Tuesday attended in Brussels a European Semester in 2015 meeting held by the Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs of the European Parliament, where he said that Romania has made progress with implementing specific country recommendations such as fiscal and budgetary consolidation and financial sector stability.
In a press statement released to AGERPRES, the Chamber of Deputies says presented at the meeting was a draft report on the implementation of coordination policies, with the themes disused focused on the EU priorities to boost economic growth and create jobs, to consolidate the Economic and Monetary Union as well as to help achieve the objectives under Europe 2020 Strategy.
