Romania’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) unadjusted terms advanced 4.3 percent in Q1, 2016 from Q1, 2015, according to estimates released on Friday by the National Institute of Statistics (INS).
Seasonally adjusted, the growth was 4.2 percent from Q1, 2015.
Compared with the last quarter of 2015, Q1, 2016 GDP was up 1.6 percent seasonally adjusted.
INS says following its revision of the unadjusted series by including estimates of the Q1, 2016 GDP, the seasonally adjusted series was recomputed and adjusted as follows: Q1, 2015 results versus Q1, 2014 went form 101.3 percent to 101.2 percent; Q2, 2015 versus Q1, 2015 — from 99.9 percent to 100 percent; Q3 and Q4, 2015 results versus preceding quarter were left unchanged.
Seasonally adjusted series are recomputed quarterly to reflect adopted changes, developments in unadjusted series and observations available.
