Romanians – confident in the NATO the most, then UN, EU as regards intl bodies

Romanians are confident in the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) the most, and then in the United Nations Organisation (UN) and the European Union, as regards the international bodies, an INSCOP research released on Tuesday says.

According to the barometer, the NATO enjoys the highest trust, much and very much, from 60.7 pct of the Romanians, exceeding as a first the 60 pct threshold as compared to 55 pct in Febryary 2015.

Second ranking in the top of the confidence in the international bodies comes the UN, by 56.2 pct much, very much trust (51.9 pct in February), and the third place is occupied by the EU, by 55.5 pct (with 51.7 pct in February).

The European Commission ranks fourth by 50.2 pct (47.9 pct in February), followed by the European Parliament — 48.3 pct (from 46.2 pct in February). More…
