Consolidating the relations between Romania and Turkey and the security situation in the wider Black Sea region were the main topics of Thursday’s official meeting in Istanbul between Romanian Defence Minister Mircea Dusa and his Turkish counterpart Ismet Yilmaz, according to a press release from the National Defence Ministry.
During the meeting, the two officials highlighted the common interest in developing training cooperation through the participation of the two armies’ troops in joint drills in Turkey and in Romania.
