Foreign Affairs Minister Bogdan Aurescu had a bilateral meeting on Saturday with his Serbian counterpart Ivica Dacic, on the sides of the informal meeting of foreign ministers of EU member and candidate states in Luxemburg.
According to a release of the Foreign Affairs Ministry (MAE), the meeting occurred in the context of reform efforts in Serbia and of more intense preparations for opening the first chapters of negotiation with the EU under the Luxemburg Presidency of the EU Council.
The Romanian minister appreciated the strength and quality of the bilateral dialogue, in the context of recent visits of Romania’s President and prime minister to Belgrade; he also reaffirmed Romania’s commitment to the further consolidation of the strong and close relations with Serbia. More…
