Regional experts launch ‘Prospective on Ukraine Crisis. A Trilateral Approach’ book for diplomats, security

The Centre for Conflict Prevention & Early Warning launched on Tuesday the volume ‘Prospective on Ukraine Crisis. A Trilateral Approach’, an instrument aimed at all the involved security structures and states as well as at the international community, so as to see what are the possible directions of development on the short-, medium- and long-term for Ukraine.

“We speak of a trilateral exercise, it involves specialists from Romania, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine. The volume is dedicated to the academic area, the area of international and diplomatic relations and the security area in particular, since it offers the alternative formulas for the evolution of the situation in Ukraine played on 90 scenarios and fundamental conclusions relating the evolution of Ukraine, for the stabilisation and balance of this state, on the short-, medium—and long-term. Here lies the target”, former presidential advisor Iulian Chifu, the coordinator of the work, said at the launch hosted by the Palace of Parliament.

His two co-workers at the volume written in English are Oazu Nantoi, a Moldovan politician and political analyst, former deputy in the Moldovan Parliament, and Alyona Getmanchuk, a foreign policy analyst and director of Kiev-based Institute for World Politics. More…
