President Klaus Iohannis signed on Monday the decrees acknowledging Gabriel Oprea’s resignation as Vice-Premier and Interior Minister, and appointing instead Sorin Cimpeanu as acting Vice-PM and IntMin.
According to the Presidential Administration, the head of the state signed on Monday the decrees officially acknowledging Gabriel Oprea’s stepping down from office as Vice-PM and Minister of the Interior and the end of his term as a government member, appointing also Sorin Mihai Cimpeanu as caretaker for these two offices.
Gabriel Oprea resigned from the government, acting Premier Sorin Cimpeanu confirmed on Monday for AGERPRES.
According to official sources, Oprea Oprea resigned office on Friday, when he announced at the Cotroceni presidential Palace that he was delegating his powers to State Secretary with the Interior Ministry Ilie Botos. More…
