The President of Cyprus continues his contacts on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum, in Davos, where he is meeting today with the Greek Prime Minister, as well as with the heads of French energy giant Total and of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

President Anastasiades is meeting in the mornign with the Greek Premier Alexis Tsipras, the Chairman and CEO of Total Patrick Pouyanné and the President of EBRD Suma Chakrabarti.

Speaking to CNA, Government Spokesman Nicos Christodoulides said that during a joint meeting, on Thursday, with the UN Secretary General and the Turkish Cypriot leader, President Anastasiades underlined the issues that are being discussed at the negotiating table, as outlined in a four-pages-long document.

The document also had references to “all [elements] that need to be included in a potential deal, before it will be brought in front of the people to decide on it,” Christodoulides said.

UN-led talks are currently underway to find a negotiated settlement that would reunite Cyprus, divided since the 1974 Turkish invasion, under a federal roof.
