President of the Republic of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides welcomed the two-week ceasefire agreement between the United States and Iran, stressing the importance of using this opportunity to advance diplomatic efforts.

In a post on platform X, President Christodoulides underlines that “it is imperative to effectively pursue this window of opportunity for diplomacy to advance de-escalation and to restore regional stability.”
