Prime Minister Victor Ponta in Bucharest on Friday talked with Slovak Republic Prime Minister Robert Fico about topical issues of the European agenda, such as the Juncker Investment Plan, the Energy Union and the developments in the eastern neighbourhood.
The Slovak Prime Minister, accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister for Investments Lubomir Vazny, paid a working visit to Romania, the Government’s Press Office informs.
“The agenda of discussions between the two Prime Ministers included the stage and prospects of consolidating the bilateral relations and topical issues on the European agenda, such as the Juncker Investment Plan, the Energy Union and the developments in the eastern neighbourhood. A special attention was granted to the manner in which the two countries coordinate to strengthen the absorption of European funds, including in the context of the task force created by the European Commission.
