Perdikaris: ANA-MPA expands cooperation with Greek universities to promote their actions

On the occasion of the completion of sixty years of contribution to higher education, research and society, the University of Ioannina organized a discussion on the topic: “Higher education in the public space.”
Among the participants were Nikos Xydakis, journalist, Marny Papamatthaiu, editor-in-chief of “To Vima Tis Kyriakis” Newspaper, Aimilios Perdikaris, president of the Athens-Macedonian News Agency (ANA-MPA) and Dimitrios Pefanis, director of CNN Greece.
“I believe that there is sufficient visibility of the achievements of Greek universities, which none of us disputes, and we are proud of Greek universities and their people,” Aimilios Perdikaris, stressed among others.
“It’s their people and we showcase it in the best way and through personal stories and stories that relate to universities. Even when you highlight the potential problems of an academic institution, you can help launch a solution. So we are talking in terms of society and we all recognize the contribution of the Greek university to the promotion and the development of our society.
As for the organization that I represent here, the Athens-Macedonian News Agency, we already have already signed a memorandum of cooperation for the promotion of the work and actions of the University of Ioannina. Accordingly we have a memorandum of cooperation with the journalism schools of the Athens and Thessaloniki Universities, the two largest in the country. Our goal in the next period is to expand these memorandums of cooperation for the promotion of their actions, in all faculties in research and innovation,” Perdikaris underlined.
