Sofia, August 23 (BTA) – Two days after Macedonia declared a state of emergency over an influx of refugees, the Bulgarian Interior Ministry said on Sunday there is no tension on the Bulgarian-Macedonian border.
There have been no alerts about migrants on their way to Bulgaria. Bulgaria is implementing measures to tighten border controls.
Border police from the crossings at Zlatarevo, Stanke Lisichkovo and Gyueshevo are in constant contact exchanging information with their Macedonian counterparts. LN/PP
