Morrissey turns Bucharest concert venue into play area for political messages, punk spirit

British artist Morrissey on Wednesday evening turned the Bucharest Palace Hall into a play area for political messages and punk spirit, as his two-hour show to a standing audience awash in the strong stage lights filled the set with hits like “Kiss Me a Lot” or “How Soon is Now?”, accompanied by a montage of video clips that kept running behind the artist, illustrating brutal police actions or the way animals are sacrificed for the meat industry.

Known for his activist spirit, Morrissey exposed the audience to some disturbing footage showing acts of cruelty of humans against humans and of humans against animals. More…
