Podgorica, (MINA) – Montenegrin President Jakov Milatovic congratulated the newly appointed Montenegrin ambassadors to five EU member states, voicing his expectation that they will further contribute to meeting the country’s foreign policy goals.

According to the press release from the President’s office, Milatovic hosted newly appointed ambassadors to France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Croatia and Bulgaria – Dubravka Lalovic, Olivera Injac, Milisav Raspopovic, Dejan Vukovic and Djordje Jankovic.

Milatovic congratulated the ambassadors on their appointments to these important positions and wished them success in their diplomatic missions.

He expressed his expectation that, during their mandate, they will make an additional contribution towards fulfilling the country’s foreign policy goals – full membership in the EU, credible membership in NATO, as well as strengthening the country’s international reputation.

The ambassadors, as stated, emphasized that it is a privilege to represent Montenegro and that during the course of their diplomatic mandates, they will work on improving relations with the countries in which they are stationed.
