Macron: French investments worth over 600 million euros until 2027 for energy and environment
President of the Republic of France, Emmanuel Macron, stated on Tuesday that France has invested 210 million euros for 4 projects in the field of energy and the environment, and over 600 million euros will be invested until 2027.
At the joint press conference alongside Prime Minister Edi Rama at the Prime Minister’s Office, Macron said that, “with the French Development Agency, we will accompany Albania in its economic reforms, energy and environmental transition. 210 million euros have been invested since 2019 for 4 projects and more than 600 million euros will be invested in this field until 2027 for new projects according to your priorities.”
So, he emphasized, “we see that the bilateral agenda is changing and our will is to put together in the coming weeks an agreement between the two governments that will structure this relationship and enable it to go further.”
