Kurti: The stealth attack in Zvecan, an attempt by those who no longer rule in the north
The acting Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, has reacted following the attack on the Kosovo Post offices in Zvecan, describing it as a terrorist act.
Prime Minister Albin Kurti wrote on Facebook that this act of violence is an attempt to undermine security and prevent citizens from integrating into the legal and institutional system of the Republic of Kosovo.
“What is concerning in this situation is the fact that individuals known for their connections with criminal and terrorist groups, such as Milan Radojicic, continue to remain free and are being sheltered and used by the authorities in Serbia for nationalist purposes,” Kurti stated.
He added, “The freedom of the criminal Radojicic and his failure to be handed over to our authorities is a dangerous message that encourages criminals, terrorists, and extremists of various kinds to continue their destabilizing actions. Through the creation of artificial tensions, there is an attempt to hinder the normal functioning of institutions and undermine the economic development and democratic progress of our country.”
Kurti further emphasized, “The stealthy grenade attack in the dark of night is an attempt born out of the desperation and impotence of those who no longer rule in northern Kosovo. Kosovo Post will remain as a public enterprise, the new building will be installed, and legal services will continue to be provided for all citizens.”
Relevant institutions are conducting thorough investigations to bring the perpetrators of this serious act to justice. Kosovo remains committed to peace and regional stability, but will not allow any attempts to challenge our constitutional order and the safety of our citizens,” wrote Albin Kurti.
Albin Kurti stressed that the state will continue to act decisively to ensure that all citizens, without distinction, live in a secure and free environment./KosovaPress
