Helez and Galić visit the Arms Fair in London

As part of a multi-day official visit to the Ministry of Defense of the United Kingdom (UK) of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina Zukan Helez and the Deputy Minister of Defense for Policy and Plans Slaven Galić today visited a large international arms fair ‘DSEI 2023’ in London.

Minister Helez and Deputy Minister Galić are focused on the modernization of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina and took the opportunity to learn about current world trends in the military industry.

They also discussed the possibilities of mutual cooperation between the defense industry of BiH and the UK.

“Countries in our region are modernizing and equipping their armed forces. We must not fall behind in this either if we want to be ready to defend the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our country. The Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina must be a deterrent against anyone’s pretensions to threaten the territory or inhabitants of any part of Bosnia and Herzegovina,” Minister Helez said on this occasion, announced the Press Service of the BIH Ministry of Defense.

Minister Helez also met with the Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Georgia, Brigadier General Irakli Chichinadze.
