Greek, Ukrainian FMs speak on the phone on Friday

Greek Foreign Affairs Minister George Gerapetritis on Friday spoke on the phone with his counterpart of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba, tweeted the Greek ministry.
Their “conversation was held in a very good spirit,” it was noted, while the ministers “touched upon the historical Greece-Ukraine ties and the centuries-old presence of Greek Diaspora in Odessa and Mariupol.”
Gerapetritis “emphasized that Greece encourages all international initiatives aimed at restoring Ukraine’s sovereignty and preventing humanitarian crises,” while “Kuleba thanked Greece for subscribing to the G7 Joint declaration of support for Ukraine.”
The two ministers “reaffirmed their shared will to expand bilateral cooperation and agreed to exchange visits, namely of Ukrainian FM Kuleba to Athens, and Greek FM Gerapetritis to Kyiv and to Odessa together with FM Kuleba.”
