Greek exports to US rise in first half of 2026, due to oil products

Greek exports to the United States rose by 15.6% during the first half of 2026 (January-June), compared with the corresponding period in 2025, according to an information note by the Office of Economic and Trade Affairs of the Greek embassy in Washington.

Based on data of Eurostat, the embassy Office said in its note that the value of the Greek exports to the US reached 1.3 billion euros, from 1.1 billion euros in the same period in 2025. However, if oil products are excluded, the rate drops by 4.2%, as they totalled 895 million euros the first half of 2026, compared to the corresponding period in 2025.

The export of aluminium, iron/steel, and copper products showed an increase – despite a 20%-25% tariff – as did dairy products, fish products, and cars and car parts.
