Golden Lyre 2023 chamber music festival ends

The Golden Lyre 2023 chamber music festival ends Tuesday evening with a bassoon and piano recital by Daniel Apostolov and Darko Marinovski at the Museum of the Macedonian Struggle.

Organizers will also award the Golden Lyre prize for best achievements in 2022 to Aura chamber trio, consisting of Strasho Temkov (flute), Marjan Miloshevski (bassoon) and Ana Gaceva (piano).

Temkov, Miloshevski and Gaceva teach at the Faculty of Music in Skopje. Their numerous recitals as soloists and chamber musicians in the country and abroad have garnered wide praise.

“The critics have called them ‘masters of their instruments,’ and their remarkable concerts at the invitation of renowned international festivals have made them join the ranks of the best and most active music performers in Macedonia,” organizers said.

At this evening’s bassoon and piano recital, Apostolov and Marinovski will perform works by Charles Koechlin, Othmar Nussio, and Carl Maria von Weber.

The Golden Lyre chamber music festival is organized by the Association of Music Artists in Macedonia.
